The de Lacey Nursery group are delighted to launch their third Hounslow nursery, right here in Bedfont, taking over from the long established ‘Bumbles Pre-School’ in The Airport Church, Hatton Rd.

We understand that the most important thing to you is that your child is safe and happy while they are at nursery, and that is exactly what they will be, but they will also be getting a great start to their early education with us.

Dear Parents,

My name is Charlotte de Lacey and I am the owner and manager of The de Lacey Pre-School. I am an Early Years Professional, a Montessori Teacher and a best-selling author. Our first nursery, The de Lacey Montessori School, was opened in Isleworth in 1982 by my mum, and I took it over in 2009. We then opened our second nursery in Norwood Green in 2017, and then took over Bumbles Pre-School right here in Bedfont in 2019.

Having lived in Feltham for 10 years myself, as soon as I found out that Bumbles were closing their doors, I knew straight away that this was the right opportunity for us to bring our unique ‘de Lacey’ teaching brand to a whole new set of children.

I am one of these lucky people who truly love their job, and I am very proud of the fantastic staff team that we have here in the Pre-School. They work tirelessly for your child to make sure that they get the best possible start in life.

Healthy Eating

Your child’s health is very important to us, so we pride ourselves in providing a healthy environment in which they can grow. We ask you to provide your own packed lunch if your child stays with us over lunchtime.

Your child will benefit from;

  • Organic milk and water to drink, available all day
  • Fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables at snack time each day
  • Regular kids Cookery Club sessions where children can experiment with tastes and textures
  • Our ability to meet a wide range of dietary requirements.
